Nashua Nev Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 My son asked my to take him to Clough pond in Loudon NH to fish. What is a reclaimed pond ? restrictions on fishing? etc Does anyone know this place? Would we catch? if anything? i cant find much info on this even at the state fish and game site Quote
Super User Shane J Posted September 26, 2010 Super User Posted September 26, 2010 You have to be a Loudon resident, or be with one to fish there. Quote
Nashua Nev Posted September 26, 2010 Author Posted September 26, 2010 Thank You, my boys live in Loudon. I will do some more research. Quote
xjma99 Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I can't help you with specifics of this particular pond but a reclaimed pond means that they (usually DEP/DES/DEM, etc.) killed off all of the fish there and then re-stocked with a different species. Quote
Nashua Nev Posted September 30, 2010 Author Posted September 30, 2010 ok thats makes some sense. i found out it was reclaimed but didnt know what it meant. i found out it is a reclaimed trout pond. so there must be trout on there. now i am trying to find out some restrictions it may have? can i use a motor? fly fishing only ? etc... thank you Quote
