OK fished lake Lenexa yesterday at 4 pm to about 8. Water was clear with about a 10 mph wind.I focused on shallows by grass and caught my pb largemouth (my pb sucks) on a lipless crank and then another on a swim bait. Decent day of fishing nothing special I'll take it for august

I fished Lenexa two weeks ago and caught 14 in 2 hours, all 12" fish.  There are some big fish in Lenexa, last year I'd catch atleast one 5 everytime I stayed well after dark.  The small fish far outnumber the big fish though.  I haven't fished it much this year, I just don't get the kayak out much since I got my new boat.

Cabela's is probably the worst out of all of them but sometimes you can find good stuff in the bargain cave. Roger's in Liberty would get my pick if I had to choose one. BPS in Independence is pretty good too. Academy has great prices but their selection is limited.

I WISH we had a Gander Mountain here. Definitely miss them being from WI.

Interesting fact about Cabela's, they're the only place you can get split grip St. Croix Premiers. My favorite rod for the money.

Stopped in at Mondo at lunch.  Awesome place.  They have the stuff you need/want and no gimmicks.  He even sold me something that isn't available until September 4th. :respect-059:

OK guys....need advice. Bent the prop shaft on my Minn Kota Maxxum. It's a slight bend but causing a vibration. Do you guys have any suggestions on who I should take it to for repairs....or if this is something I can do myself?

I'd take the prop off, slide rubber hose over the threads, and try to take the bend out.
