Got a couple of Rattle Flashes, very nice finish on the Shad and Blue Chrome ( holographic "waves" that look kool ), good hooks but I don 't think they are any better than other lipless cranks. As for the others haven 't tried any.

Last spring Walmart had a promo rack with lures from several different companies each for a buck.  I loaded up on bandits and the Kinami Popper.  Only got the white color because there was no selection, but I love it.  It is a great bait, I don't own any high end poppers, but I would bet this one is right up there with them.  I can walk it on very light line, and it spits and chugs just fine.

Those look really good. They look very similar to the Diawa hard baits which also work very well.

T-Rig, I use the Kinami baits all the time. I ordered a pile of them from Brad Coovert at JBC Outfitters a year or two ago. Also bought some poppers and traps. They are pretty good cranks for the money in my opinion. They have a kind of in between type of action, not too wide, not too tight....almost like a LC CB-200. Only knock I have with them is that even though the paint jobs are really slick looking, the paint itself is not very durable.....and they could have a better color selection.

They are the most used $4 dollar cranks I own....well, except for my DD22's

Your standards are pretty high, but i really like the flashes.  Like the body shape and the cool finish.

So how cheap are they at Academy now? I'll be glad to buy any of the billed cranks they have left and maybe a few of the traps. Or I can trade you some Larew stuff that clogs the pegs around here. Let me know. Seriously.
