goober0311 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 What reel's are ya'll using for flippin/pitchin. I currently have the Curado E7 but my fishing partner is using a revo. Love the curado and liked his revo but was wondering what everyone else is using. Quote

kikstand454 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 yup. i use a left hand diawa too. but youre curado is just fine. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted October 6, 2009 Super User Posted October 6, 2009 Well, most baitcasters will be just fine, but for pure power, my choice is the CTE200GT. 8-) Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I just received a Shimano Core 100 MgFV, but I have yet to try is out. I hope this fits my pitching needs. I have used a Daiwa Fuego, which I liked the light wiehgt, but it just didn't seem to be the best pitching reel. Quote
fishinflip415 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I use a chronarch 100d7. I think a higher gear ratio is key and I like the way the cores palm but I use the chronarch for flipping cause it has the brass gears not aluminum. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted October 8, 2009 Super User Posted October 8, 2009 CH51mg for lighter stuff. Revo STX for bigger stuff. Quote

Thanks why I am anxious to try out the Core 100 MgFV, because they put brass gears in it (opposed to the aluminum that is in the standard Core 100) Quote
NewAngler Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I've got an ardent xs. I love it. I would want that ardent flip-n-pitch reel though, Quote
