I just ripped open my package from Megabass USA and after ogling the enclosed lures for a few minutes I don't know if I could stand to tie them on and toss 'em into the water for some big ole fish to chew on. They are so sweet looking. I'm sure I will get over it by spring but right now I might cry to see them get scratched up. I'm not sure they will work any better than my Rapala's and Bandits but from a quality and realism standpoint I'd say I got what I paid for.

Come on ice out!! ;D

Stringjam, didn't get any Deep-X's.....yet. The review they got on Tackle Tour.com is great. I don't normally get the chance to fish water very deep so I thought I may not get the full benefit of using them. Do they get 10-15 feet deep as advertised?

They ain 't gonna ketch nuthin ' if the ain 't the water, besides, you bought lures not decoration for your home.  ;)

Raul and T-Rig:

You are both right!

Raul, I know I have to fish them because they just "look" like they will catch a lot of fish!

T-Rig, I am already debating on what to order next, if my wife doesn't kill me first!  :-[

Get yourself a couple vision 110's. Great bait in spring! ;)

I was just wondering if anybody has used the smaller vision (95 I believe) or the vision 110 prop-darter?

There are no advantages of the Vision 95 over the Vision 110, it 's not small enough to call it a finesse bait and not large enough to deter smaller fish from hitting it, both cost pretty much the same so for the same price get the 110.

The Prop darter is one of those multifunctional baits that can be fished either like a jerkbait, like a crank or like a propbait, good bait when fish are used to see a lot of different jerkbaits, it 's something different.

I have used both. The vision 95 ist silent, suspending and a good choice for gin clear water. The vision 110 is slow floating and has rattles.

I have used both size pro darters and they are fun to fish. They are topwater baits that can be fished on a slow retrieve or jerked.

I typically fish mine up to around 12' or so....which is actually pretty impressive for a bait this small.  I've never spent time determining exact max depth with the lure, but I'm sure low teens and possibly mid-teens could happen given the right line.

One thing that helps the depth - they cast a MILE (internal weight transfer).
