BassTrix Paddle Tubes and other hollow baits....

Just a question...

Ok baits such as the Paddle Tail tubes and the Net Bait Paca Craws have become very popular. Does the hollow body design inchance the baits vibration or movement? I know a lot of it is the paddle tail or the solid round pinchers, I'm starting to notice that soft plastic baits that have a lot of movement and vibration are all hollow bodied... :-?

Dunno,but one thing would be that It would decrease the fall rate of the bait due less density or to air being trapped I imagine.

Could be, I 've been thinking about it in the same line of thought. Lightweight weightless soft baits with that eternal sink rate always have been good producers for me.

I have some Basstrix minnows that I use for drop shotting and I guess they bounce all around since they are hollow.

Only used them one time but plan on fishing them on the drop shot rig a lot more in 2008.

They are some beautiful baits.

Yes they are very purdy. I dont think most fish take time to admire the paint job before they eat them though   Overall, they are the most life like minnow type bait I have ever seen.
