HookedinNY Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 I haven't used either of these lures yet. I am curious is one Megabass Vision 110 worth the price of two Lucky Craft Pointers? Quote
LCpointerKILLA Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 I can't decide which is a better producer, megabass vision 110 or the luckycraft pointer. I have three vision 110's, and probably somewhere around twenty pointers. I am a pointer fanatic. Quote

TournyFish001 Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Chartruse shad is my fav- only have one vision 110 in TNG color. I have a lot of different LC baits in the Chartruse shad color. Quote
The_Natural Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 The Pointer sure has won a lot of tournaments, and is a staple in every professional anglers tackle box. I'm sure the vision excels in a few circumstances...but just to give you an answer I will say no. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted December 23, 2007 Super User Posted December 23, 2007 I would definately take 2 LC over the Megabass. Ghost minnow, pearl ayu and baitfish silver are my colors. Allen Quote

fathom Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 one of each would be the better way to go. Quote

Pointer wise I like ayu, american shad, and most of all ghost minnow. I will give you a little tip, take your dropshot setup (and I don't mean fish it on a dropshot rig, hahaha, just use that rod and reel) that should have light line (8lbs or less) and use a pointer 65 (the real small one). Get it in american shad. This lure will be easier to cast on that light line and have more natural motion. The small american shad is too much for bass (big and small) to resist. I have been slaying them doing this. Quote
Super User Raul Posted December 24, 2007 Super User Posted December 24, 2007 Lucky Craft baits catch fish period!!!!!!!! The same applies to Megabass. Quote
Bassattackr Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Better try at least one of each to make sure. Quote
