Soft Plastics Fanatics! What are the latest most innovative softy's on the market today? I like'em so much, I can't go to BPS, Academy etc. without spending a bundle on'em.

The power of the monkey is so strong with plastics.I think the greater percent of us have wayyyy to many that we will never use.All the colors, and especially the new styles really get me.There will always be more new plastics as long as people keep dreaming them up lol.

Innovative? I just got some SK Rage shads and toads.Definately in a new class by themselves.

I've got them too and agree with you Bass Finattic, they are definately different and Kool looking especially in the water. Catch fish really well too!  Looks like Strike King is stepp'in it up in the soft plastics. Hope they keep coming out with new colors as well as more new designs. Cold fronts and wind here in Texas, Brrrrr!

these should catch on big in weedy lakes in florida.Ive been using them in a few ponds that I have beat to death and the bass just litterally crush em. A few small twitches and it looks soo super in the water.

no wonder bass crush it!!! that red one looks like its giving bass the finger!!! :) ;D

lol. I would say Strike King since they started that whole coffee thing. Can't wait to see how it produces. I'm SURE certain pro's (KVD and other Strike King pro's) will catch all their fish on them in the 2008 Classic.

Everytime I'm in BPS or Academy I usually spend an 2 hours in the fishing section.  Lets just say I don't take my wife and kids with me anymore LOL :)  I just buy the baits that work for me and let my friends buy new the new stuff.  I save $$$ that way.

Those eel baits are definitely interesting looking. Had not seen those before. Seems that alot of the baits nowadays are just slightly different knock-offs of someone else's. I appreciate those who really step out there and make a statement in a new and different idea or design.

My wrist are worn out and can't crank-a-bait-a much anymore so I down to soft-a-bait-a's to make it easier on my sore-a butt-a, if you-a know-a what-a I-a mean-a.

lol i couldnt resist making that joke!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

but seriously...for a long time i had been waiting, wanting a bait w/ lots of stringy attachments, cuz when bass are real finicky, ive always had some internal feeling that tells me to use something w/ lots of wiggly appendages. well i finally found something and i think its VERY innovative....anyone know where i can get a pack of these???

Now thats different and looks like it will get a bigg'uns attention.  Gonna have to ck that one out too. Heck its only dollars and whats a few bucks when your talkin about FISHIN!

YIKES! I don't like them that much.  I'll spend five bucks on new stuff but $10.00 is out.  Some pretty neat designs out there now.

That looks like a potential tournament winning bait. Worth the ten bucks.

Uh oh, the baitmonkey has got ya!

What sizes do those GYCB Flippin Hogs come in? Never seen or heard of them before  :) :-?  But I like them

Posted

Only seen one size about 4 in. and they work well on a fat heavy skirted jig. Come to think of it, everything works better on a fat heavy skirted jig. Guess I'm a jig-a-maniac.

Thirteen colors, but only one size: 4"

This is a fairly big trailer, and I like it!

Anyone ever try the Nories Bug by Kinami?

That has a lot of appendages. Bait Monkey has been tempting me with it. Looks like it would be a good flipping bait.

hmm... lemme look that up on websters BRB. ::)

Ok,got the definition.Yes I suppose that is exactly what it is.Never quite seen a bait with a curved body like that.Doesnt wiggle on freefall like a stickbait, but swims really cool when twitched or reeled across the top.
