Have you guys used them? I just bought one of these today in white. Any suggestions on how to fish them? I'm fishing it tommorow on the conway chain here in central florida.

Thanks

I'll be watching this post also. I just ordered one in baby bass.

Well I hate it now. Fished it on and off all day yesterday. Got one hit and had her on for a few seconds, but it was so cheaply made that when I felt her come off I reeled in only half the lure. One of the little plastic nubs on the joint just broke right off.

I actually have one of these things and it sucks! I used it once, it didn't run right and the paint started chipping off after a few casts.

I like how you threw that sure set on the back, you might want to take that off of it and get some real use out of it

I have been interested in these baits but I was worried about the quality because of it being made by Strike King (I know they make some good stuff, but my experience with them has been very poor). Thanks for the heads up.

I watch KVD catch smallies on Strike King rip shad, but then again its KVD. I guess some people can use it better then others.

And what 's that supposed to mean ?

That SBT/Strike King should stamp a warning around these lines ?: If you are not KVD you should not purchase this lure.

Which obviously is gonna generate monster sales cuz a lot of guys think they are just like KVD.

true Raul, but i know i'm not KVD. I have not fished with the lure, but i personally think it has limits. Its suppost to be a fast moving swimbait and most swimbaits are slow moving. I guess the smallies like it better then largemouth

yeah, it's Strike King king shad or ABT rip shad. Its also the closest thing to an effective swimbait for the east coast that BPS carries. at least the one near me.

NOT TRUE! next time your at bps, look for the storm kickin minnows. these things rock. they come in 4, 6, and 10 inch sizes. gizzard shad is my favorite color. but if you get some be sure to get several because they will get torn up cuz theyre so delicate (theyre delicate because of the awesome action!) there only like 2 bucks and some change.

I tell 'ya...all year long I've been using my Bandit Footloose as a "wake-bait" and I've had lots of luck. PB of 7 pounds came on this bait while waking it. Chart/Blue back seems the most consistant.

i love the foot loose. i use it in the farm pond which is almost dry...3ft. maximum depth. just about any other crank i have will run into the bottom and pick up dead leaves...good thing thers no hard cover to snag on in there.

I have 6 of these King Shads.  Mine seem to track well and have good actions.   The paint durability could be a little better.  I fished one last week and succeeded in catching a striper about 20 inches long.   It also gained the interest of an osprey that was doing his own fishing near me.   I have 2 in the alewife color, 2 in the gizzard shad color, 1 in the bass color, and 1 in the firetiger color (or whatever Strike King calls their colors).   These lures seem to have some following among some striper fishermen.

That's lure I've never had luck with.   I've tried several storm swimbaits and none of them produced for me.  LOL, I even cast one near a striper feeding frenzy and got no strikes.

I don't see how people can cast those storm baits.  I bought some when I was younger and on my fish cast the plastic came off and I was left w/ the head.  Lucky me eh?   So no more storm, mattlures is now getting my business.  Basstrix are low all over the internet but Mark's outdoors still has them in stock for 10 bucks a pack. Lucky me eh? haha

this aint the standard storm swimbait w/ the heavy azz head and the bood tail...its much different. its got a jointed plastic body, and a swimming lip. the action on mine was amazing. if i get some BPS gift cards for xmas i will be pickin up several more.
