I swear I can 't feel the difference between a GLX worth 100 dollars more than an IMX.

Which only proves point I 've always mentioned, the rod may be manufactured with the best materials and all that gets to a dead end when your senses can 't feel the difference.

I have several of both.. You can feel a bass hit your worm with slack line in 20' of water on both.  If you have the money to blow then get the GLX but honestly, the IMX will serve you very well too.

The IMX is the best rod you can buy at the pricing point, PERIOD.

The GLX series is a dream. I HIGHLY recommend it for your jig rod and any finesse fishing. I have the GLX MBR844C as my dedicated jig rod; I have the PR844S for smallmouth fishing. They make a difference, trust me!

Not sure about there, but here spinnerbait bites are very aggressive, and there's no need to pay extra for an even more sensitive rod in that case.

My previous comment above should have added it's worth it when you need the added sensitivity with baits like jigs, soft plastics like senkos, etc..

I use my GLX's for jigs and plastics, I want to feel a bass burp at 10'. When I am fishing with cranks or spinners I use other rods. It has been my experience that if the fish are active enough to be hitting a fast horizontal bait they hit it hard enough to easily be felt on a much less expensive rod. If you can afford a GLX you will fall in love with it for slow fishing.

That is the way I was leaning. Will try to get an IMX for my blades. I'm not wealthy by any means but my fishing time is hard to come by. So I want to make the most of what I get

You will be AMAZED what you will feel with a GLX, the biggest problem with a GLX is that they are so sensitive, you will feel so much more that you will for awhile set the hook way too soon. What a nice problem to have. I purchased one of my GLX rods via ebay at a substantial discount and it is perfect. Good luck and enjoy the new love of your life.
