I was just wondering what everyone thinks the best specs on a soft plastics rod are?  Do you use more than one?  Right now I only use one and its 6'6" MH/F.  I was thinking about buying a 6'6" M/F rod and having two.  Do you think this is necessary?  Or will one rod work for all soft plastics?

This is spinning gear I'm talking about.

MH/F is my preference.  If you want another rod, get one.  The medium might do better at tossing lighter/smaller baits.

I suggest a 6 1/2' or 7' Medium Power/ Fast Action spinning rig.

That is what I use for all soft plastics.

I 've got 3 soft plastics/general purpose spinning rods:

GLoomis SJR721 IMX

GLoomis SJR722 GL2

CSS66MH

Do I think it 's necessary having two ?

The reason why I have three is because each rod is for a specific purpose to fish in a specific lake or series of lakes, for some lakes I fish with the SJR721 ( gets a 9 in the funometer scale  :) ), for other lakes where there 's more cover I can fish with heavier line, bigger baits and a more stiff rod.
