The_Natural Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 The Core's graphite paint does have metallic fleck in it, but it doesn't bling like that unless you hit it with a camera flash 8-) Quote

Redsyn Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 When I read the new twins I was thinking of a completely different set of twins Now that I see what you are talking about, I'd much rather play w/ your kind of twins ;D Quote
Super User islandbass Posted February 16, 2008 Super User Posted February 16, 2008 Sweet! What XMG Model(s) did you get? And please give a review. The boys at TT gave a fairly postive review on one of them, but I would love to hear your perspective on those rods when you get the chance. Thanks! Every time I see one at the local shops I come close to pulling the trigger. Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted February 16, 2008 Super User Posted February 16, 2008 Very nice. I too would like a small review on the Lamiglas rods. Quote
HOIST-N-HAWGS Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Very very saaaaweeeeeeeeeet! By the way just so you know, I do provide secure storage for all Core Lamiglas set-ups ;D Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 16, 2008 Super User Posted February 16, 2008 It looks like you purchased one of each, the 6:2:1 and the 7:0:1. Is that correct or is it the angle of the camera? I guess your next reel will have to be the Shimano Calais at $650 each. The Bait Monkey is in all of his glory today!!!! Quote
Super User FishTank Posted February 16, 2008 Super User Posted February 16, 2008 Awesome, simply awesome. Let us know how they fish. Quote
Hooked_On_Bass Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very nice! Quote

Those are nic looking reels. Are they worth the money over a Curado or MG7 or MG50?? Quote
Super User Alpster Posted February 16, 2008 Super User Posted February 16, 2008 I am looking forward to a detailed review of the Core. I have 3 rods I built on Lamiglas blanks and I love them. Let us know how they fish. Ronnie Quote
