Good price for a TDZ??

I was hoping you guys could let me know. A guy on a local forum is selling a Daiwa TDZ New for this price:

2006 Daiwa TDZ 105HL lefty. Brand new. Asking $175.00.

Being one who has never fished with a Daiwa casting reel, is this a good price? I have always heard how good Daiwa reels are so I just might bite but I'd like to hear from you guys first. Thanks!

Yes those look pretty good to me, ill take the sol baitcaster if you dont.

That is a good price for the TD-Z. they were originally $350 but have been liquidated within the last year at BPS and Cabela's for $200. That is a lot of reel for $175. When you compare that to reels in that price range-Revo, Curado, etc, I think it would hard to pass up that deal....

And if you don't like it, there is a really good chance you can break even or make $$ selling it on ebay.....

What do you want a flipping reel for ?

The TDZ105HL is not a mirror lefty like the 103HL, it 's a flipping reel.

I don 't say it won 't cast IB, it does cast but is not a good caster, also, the spool release in that reel is not a thumbar but a push button on top of the reel.
