Yes, Berkley Fireline Crystal was what I was refering to, I was thinking about using it with a florocarbon leader in clear water for spooky smallies. I have noticed that with regular Fireline that after using it for awhile the color starts to dissapate and the base line is sort of a white looking, I'm wondering if the crystal is just undyed fireline.

T-rig what is it that you hate about it?

It is a bright white. It is good if you need to watch your line, but if you are planning to use it on spooked fish, it won't serve that purpose. Your best bet would be florocarbon!

call me crazy but heres what i did:

medium action rod w/ a 6.1.1 casting reel

8 lb fireline crystal

dean rojas bronzeeye frog in open water

a great set up until u start gettin big fish casts great i havent seen any problems w/ color yet because i dont only fish frogs w/ it. good to use for light weighted baits or chatter baits
