What’s your water clarity like?
I see you are in Oklahoma? If you are comfortable sharing the water you are fishing, several members in here may be able to provide lake-specific recommendations.

Missile Baits D Bomb and Baby D Bomb and the Reaction Innovations Beaver and Smallie Beaver are killer right now through about April if your water isn't frozen!

Lake Elmer Thomas.  Pretty clear lake has lots of hydrilla.

As far as color goes, I always use white for sight fishing beds.

If not, June bug most of the time with watermelon as a change up if needed.

I like all these.  Specific color you like?  Water clarity is clear with lots of Hydrilla.

@frostyttu

Stillhouse a couple months ago was just as you described. Still pretty clear. My best colors are scuppernong, watermelon seed, plum apple, black, and watermelon candy.

For the D Bomb, I'd get bruiser flash for shade lines/muddy water and I'd get something really simple like GP3 for clear water situations.  A bag of the small and big size ought to do ya they last for a few fish in my experience and take dye very well.

For the RI Beavers I like Hematoma and Spanish Fly for dirty vs clear water.

I don't put too much stock in matching specific forage unless the fish give me some kinda strong reason to like a shad spawn.  Grab some white beavers for that and call it a day.  Some variation of black for dirty water/green for clear water/white for shad fixated bass is about all I ever use for beavers/creatures.

The OG creature bait......the lizard, Zoom's Magnum Lizard is a summer staple.  Anything dark.....black grape, black with red flake, black w purple flake, Junebug, etc.

I haven't found anything better than D-bombs.   Something magical about them, they just flat out produce.    Bruiser flash is my favorite, but I have half a dozen other colors that produce just as well seemingly.   Not a huge color guy.

I got to thinking this past weekend that I could fairly easily get rid of everything else I own and do just fine with nothing else...maybe add a spinnerbait and a jerkbait.

My favorite color from reaction innovations is magic craw swirl, but big texan killed for me this year, also like trampstamp and hematoma.

No.  But, I admittedly have not given them a fair shake yet.  I try them occasionally, but put them down pretty quickly.   I need one good confidence bite to commit...to most anything.

Water temps just now dipping under 60, and lmb are still herding bait at various depths, so it is a perfect time to try harder...maybe this weekend

When I fish in the vegetation I use green pumpkin or watermelon seed.

The last couple of trips everything has been caught on the Ultra Vibe Speed Craw or the Baby Brush Hog in Watermelon Seed. The places we fished only had rock banks and laydowns and stick ups. No grass or vegetation.

Green pumkin 75% of the time, otherwise black or Scuppernong.
