As the temps dip and the ice begins to form, I'm dreaming of spring 2022! Here is my lineup for this upcoming season. I'm very brand bias if you couldn't notice. What's everyone else's 2022 lineup??

I appreciate it, I was given a gift card to TW so I’m just waiting for them to get more back in stock and I’ve got some time before Connecticut thaws. Do you like the fuego lt?

I cannot tell it from the Tatula LT.  Maybe in a big number of years, but not out of the box.  Both are fine reels.

Long range planning is like #6 on my "You know how I know you don't fish?" list.

Loop knot is pretty high up there too. I was "planning" to go today, but ice had a different idea.

Everytime I fall into this trap, this early, I end up buying something else.  So, for now, I'm going to stay away from this one...

For many techniques they usurped my Dobyns arsenal other than Frogs and Plastics.

The graphite 7'2 MH/Mod Fast and 7'8 Wakebait rods get the most use. The 7'2 is my primary spinner/swim jig/big walking bait rod. I think it is the newest rod in the lineup. The 7'8 lives with a Spro Rat 50 constantly. This is a complete sleeper for a 1-4oz treble swimbait stick. Long handle, wonderful action.

The 7 MH and 7'3 H glass are pretty slick but have some trade offs. Glass is clunky and heavy...these rods are no exception. They are 100% balanced for tip down position. I use the H more and it flings bladed jigs and 6xd size cranks all day for me. When a fish hooks up it doesn't stand a chance. Beautiful landing power but did I mention phyiscally heavy? Haha.

Longer handles on those casting models which I prefer.

The 7'1 MH spin is the best candidate for a 'one and done' spin only rod. I have it ready for guests that do not want to use a baitcaster for pond trips. I use my Rebellion more but that doesn't take away from the versatility of this model.

I did not like the graphite casting jig and worm rods. Those were too awkward for me to hold tip up. My Dobyns, Platinums and Millerod are way, way more enjoyable for those presentations.

Those Ark Tharp rods are the real deal. I sold a Money Maker that I completely regret. I have a feeling I will be adding one back into the mix by the end of the year. I've wanted to get my hands on an Offshore Special also.

They're a great value for sure. They've relegated my Dobyns and Abu's to moving bait duty. I love ARK's formula of using the same blanks across multiple lines with guides and seats dictating the price point. It enables us to buy different series online and get what we're expecting. The Tharp Series doesn't have a model comparable to the Cobb One More so I ordered it and got exactly what I was expecting. Kudos to ARK for that.

I've accumulated a few rods and reels the past 3-4 years.  Most haven't been used yet.  Hopefully my interest will be high enough this year to go out fishing a few times.

Spinning:  Primarily want to use Major Craft Benkei 6'7" LF w/BG1500, Abu Fantasista Regista 6'10" MLF w/Daiwa 16 EM MS 2508PE-H and Fenwick ET Smallmouth 6'9" M-EF w/Daiwa Procyon EX 2000

Casting rods:  Many including some I've had for awhile.  Definitely want to get out with my new and new-2-me Doctor Shamans, Zolos, Tharps, Heliums, iRods.  Older rods: OG Tatulas, Fenwick Techna AVs, Rainshadow RX7 and Smallmouth ETs.

Casting reels:  Daiwa Pixy, Steez, TD-Z, Zillion, Alphas, both Coastal models, Shimano Bantam MGL, Scorpion MGL, SLX 71 MGL, Chronarch 100B, Exsence DC, Pinnacle Primmus, Tour S3, Helios Air, and a couple Lew's.  If I get out enough I will take some of the older rods/reels out.

EDIT:  I did pick up a little fly fishing gear.  Sure would be nice to give them a shot as well although most would be for panfish rather than bass.

My line up this year hasn't changed much from last year...I did add another 1000 size Daiwa Revros and I have a new rod on the way a Majorcraft nanoace 6'9" medium fast casting I'm gonna use for poppers and jerkbaits under 1\2oz.
