txchaser Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 I'm looking to restock some tungsten weights, preferably in no-chip GP. Strike King used to make some, but not anymore. Do you have a favorite? Quote
rtwvumtneer6 Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Did the SK work like they claimed? The "Never Chips" that I use aren't painted. The process they use turns them black. Not sure if that could be achieved in Green Pumpkin? Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted October 20, 2021 Super User Posted October 20, 2021 Best I can find is the Eco Pro weights - they just claim 'Chip resistant', but come in quite a range of colors. https://ecoprotungsten.com/collections/terminal-tackle/products/eco-pro-tungsten-worm-weights 1 Quote

Super User T-Billy Posted October 27, 2021 Super User Posted October 27, 2021 I've been 100% satisfied with Dr Scott's. I get them from that big auction site. I fish alot of rock. Never had any chipping. 1 Quote
Super User ChrisD46 Posted October 27, 2021 Super User Posted October 27, 2021 I keep a small container of chipped paint bullet worm weights to re-paint with testors enamel paint or finger nail polish . I stick them upright using toothpicks in a craft store foam base , paint them - then wait until they dry before sending them back to the starting team again . 1 1 Quote
ThatFishingGuy Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 Reaction Tackle on Amazon has green-pumpkin tungsten weights that they claim are chip resistant. 1 Quote
Fishingmickey Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 Check out Seibert Outdoors! The no chips are matte black. He really has quality weights and packaging is excellent for them. FM https://siebertoutdoors.com/products/ols/categories/tungsten-weights-and-accessories 1 Quote
HookInMouth Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 FishOn Tungsten. Their green pumpkin seems like a true green pumpkin color too. And they are a lot more affordable than most. 1 Quote
