I’m not doing a YouTube channel. Just like filming for fun wearing my chest mount.

man, my voice is awful.  Nasal and congested sounding.  I also become a mouth breather when I catch a fish. Wheezy.

Some of the stuff I say is goofy as all get out.  It sounds way better in my mind. :)

@Darth-Baiter @MN Fisher @jbsoonerfan

Any chance you guys are being way too hard on yourselves ?

I'll say that there is no "Right" way to record our fishing trips.

Just Our Way.

I totally get it - we rarely look & sounds like 'we think' we do, once we see it back in video.

Sort of a shocker at first but once we get over that, it get's a lot easier.

My advice is,  EMBRACE your individuality, it's what make you - You !

So keep recording and enjoy Your Show . . .

Stay Safe & Fish Hard.

Uh no - reviewing footage and hearing some of the things I say...suffice to say it's not for public consumption.

Plan on more filming/editing/posting this year - even started the walk-through of the canoe mods...but I gotta write a script - the first couple takes were disjointed.

Cool ~

Looking forward to checking it out.

Minus some of 'the colorful' stuff I guess.

You are not alone .. I need to mount elsewhere than my chest.. that way it won’t pick up my breathing while I’m reeling a fish in which sounds like I’m horsing a whale in ?

I've got a shoulder mount. Power cable zip-tied to the mesh of my PFD, external battery in the pocket...doesn't pick up the breathing near as much.

Gets a decent angle despite the beard being partially in the way.

Yeah I’ll get around to a different mount and actually a go pro.. I just been using my IPhone 12 Pro snapped into a holster clip on my pfd.. it’s just worked well so haven’t sprung for a go pro.. with my new yak it’s definitely a need or want now.

I'm using Dragon Touch Vision 3s - the new Vision 4 has an external mic that can clip to your collar and EIS. At $50, they do a pretty good job.

I have to drag my kayak down a steep hillside for about 1/4 mile today..for the evening fishing trip.  the lake is very low.  super low.  in an hours or so.

I'm hoping to film it, so my friends can see the conditions, but I will sound like a leaking air balloon.  hahahah.
