Super User Boomstick Posted April 25, 2021 Super User Posted April 25, 2021 I expect that we've all been in this situation before. I had three open compartment 3700 boxes organized to hold soft plastics, one for finesse baits, one for creature baits and one for stick baits and plastic worms (pretty much anything I'd T-Rig). I bought a double deep box that can be open compartment or three compartments, figuring I could consolidate into two boxes and the double height would let me fit more under the seat in my kayak. But today when I went to reorganize it, I ended up using one divider to make it a two compartment box, just moving baby brush hogs into the creature bait box and adding a few more things into my worm box that didn't fit before, which wasn't exactly what I'm going for. Now I'm wondering if I'd be better off using the three compartments and just loading up what I plan on taking for the day on the kayak. Quote

In this case, I could make it three compartments, one for craws, one for T-Riggable soft plastics and one for finesse plastics. Quote

I have 7 3700 boxes in my crate but fill a 3600 box under my seat with the lures I may need in addition to what's tied on already. There are many trips where I never take anything out of the crate, and when I do it's usually one time......but hey, you never know. LOL Quote

LOL I usually carry 5 or 6 3700s and one under the seat of soft plastics, plus other soft plastics under my seat in the tray. Unless I decide to load a day box of soft plastics, 3 of those could be just soft plastics. Sometimes that works, but other times it doesn't. Quote
