I have a question regarding the Casting Rings option.  If I set a Casting Ring around a waypoint at 60 feet.  Is that a 60 foot radius around the waypoint, meaning I am 30 feet from my point.  Or, is a 60 foot casting ring put me 60 feet from my point?

Radius of 60ft would be 120ft diameter.  It's going to be 60ft away from you if you set the rings to 60ft.

What @Tim Kelly said above. I set my H’bird casting ring at about 25’-35’ most days depending on presentation. In your example, if set to 60 ft, no matter which direction you approach your waypoint from, the ring will show 60 ft away/out from the waypoint when your current boat position icon reaches the ring.
