Im looking to get a new rod or 2 once the black friday deals hit . Currently i am only going off of reviews online or guys i work with who bass fish since i dont have anywhere local to get my hand on these rods. The ones im considering are the ark lancer pro, falcon lowrider or dobyns sierra. I was just curious on if anyone has used these and what you have thought. Looking for the most well balanced, light weight and sensitive of the 3.

I’ve use and have in my arsenal a Sierra 734 and 703. I really love the Sierra lineups. Balanced, lightweight, and pretty darn sensitive. Their price point puts them at a great spot as well

I say go Sierra and don’t look back. The build qualities are some of, if not the best I’ve seen.  Plus you have the backing of the Dobyns company themselves with their outstanding and personalized service with an awesome warranty to boot should you ever need it.

Of the three, only have the Sierra. Great balance and sensitive at a nice price point.

The Sierra rods are very nice...I have a medlight spinning and its the best spinning rod I've used. That said I'm a sucker for falcon rods. I've never used the low rider series but have several of the old bucoo micro guide rods and absolutely love them.

Of the three, I am only familiar with the Sierra but they are solid rods.

Would a 3 or 4 power dobyns be better?  I mainly throw 1/4 texas rigs and 1/4 -3/8 jigs nothing really heavier than that might also throw top water toads with it

For what you described, I'd go 4 power in Dobyns.

I've handled the Sierras in store and they seem really nice. I have a few Ark Snipers that are surprisingly nice.  So nice, that I'm looking at adding a few Invoker pros in the future.

I own at least one rod from each of those companies, but not in any of the models you are looking at.  Therefore I can't give you any useful advice.  I have read reviews of them all.  From what I've read I'd say they are all good options at their respective price points.

I feel that Falcon hasn't gotten the recognition it deserves in the past few years.  I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they have resorted to having several models made overseas in order to stay competitive.  Something that most companies are doing in every industry.  One reviewer felt the Lowrider fished like some $250 rods.  Considering you can get one for $100 from Sportsman's Warehouse, I'd be very tempted to go with this model.  To be honest if I were considering the Sierra, I think I'd opt for the Falcon Expert for $20 more (list price).  And I do really like my one Dobyns.

The Sierras casting rods are good for moving baits, but Im not crazy about them like everyone else is.  Never had an ark, but I can 100% that some of the Falcon rods fish like they should cost way more then they do.  They have held up really well in tough environments like saltwater.

Have heard very positive things about the Lowrider. Was on my short list for this year.

The Lancer Pro has micro guides, so if you are a leaderknot person, maybe avoid. Almost bought one last year until I learned this.

Only know one person with a Sierra and he said the reel seat was uncomfortable to him.
