I just got a new Adrena 6'11 M+ and a 7'3 MH. I was blown away by how light they are and well they balance. I use a NRX 894C as my jig rod. I am wondering how big the drop off would be in sensitivity from the NRX to an Adrena 7'2 H. Thoughts? Preferably from someone who has used both.

No help here, but congratulations on the new rods!  :thumbsup3:  Above my budget...by a lot...but would love to have the 6'11" +.  Great rod from what I read.  A review of both would be appreciated by many.

It’s been a loooong time since I’ve handled an NRX. But I’ve got 5 adrenas in my arsenal right now and I don’t miss the NRX’s a bit. Even for sensitivity applications.

I have the PA 6'11 med+, 7'3 mh, 7'2 h.

I dont have any NRX's but i have two Conquest 843, 844.

In my hands the PA's are just as sensitive if not slightly more than the Conquests.

That could just be me though. Because everybody seems to have a different experience when it comes to rod sensitivity.

I have shimano magnesium framed reels on all the rods with P-line tactical as the line.

I have the nrx 893, the steez bottom contact and the adrena 7'2h. To me, the nrx has that jolty type sensitivity where as the bottom contact is as sensitive but deeper in the blank, the bottom contact just feels more solid. The 7'2 h is plenty sensitive but to me it's "fast tip" is closer to the more moderate action of the 7'3 MH Adrena. You aren't missing bites with the 7'2h adrena or any of these rods. I haven't had a ton of time on it.

I fished with the 7’3 MH a little this weekend. The moderate fast tip is going to pretty much make it a moving bait rod, isn’t it?

I had to buy a second because I loved the first so much. One i pitched light Texas rigs and senkos on all summer, the other I threw a jack hammer. I throw little wake baits, square bills, top water, flukes. Hell, I slayed them this morning throwing a vision 110 on it with braid to 16lb leader. Sure, I bent a few hooks but it was fun. Point is, it's for a fast enough tip to set single hook baits.
