Tis the season.  Will probably be worse before it gets better.  California could use some of that moisture at the moment.

 

I've always wondered why hurricanes move from east to west, but the weather across our country moves from west to east?  Doesn't make much sense to me.

Right now those tropical waves show a <40% chance of development, so let’s hope it stays that way. 

 

I was lucky and only had no power for 7 hours yesterday. Another similar hurricane in the general area would probably be devastating to the power grid.
