Help identify graph?

Soo I am also new to using graphs and electronics , I’m wondering what this could be.. thank you for the help for anyone who comments. Much appreciated.

Idk what you settings look like, but on my bird if I get return from the top of the water column/surface, I will turn down my sensitivity.

I’m sure they are basic settings.  I haven’t 

messed With anything when it csme

out of the box.  I have the lowrance book 5hdi . Basic graphics.

It's important to understand the shape of your sonar coverage.  I'm assuming you have a 20 degree transducer.  Always think about the cone of sonar coverage. Keep a picture of it in your mind.  It's width is about 1/3 of the depth.  As long as something is inside of that cone,  you will see it on the screen.  Things move through the cone because they're moving or you're moving.  You're in 6 feet of water so you're looking at a cone shaped area of water thats about 2 feet across at the bottom.  You're not looking at a lot of water when the depth is only 6 feet.  Your speed appears to be 0.2 MPH so you're not moving very much.  It looks like you've marked several different things over the period of time shown on the screen.  So my guess is you're looking at several small fish that have passed through that small sonar cone in the last 15 seconds or so.

Baitfish, 6+' deep, the sonar return area is about 2+' dia at the bottom. The display is a history of you pass over, not what is passing through, unless you are stopped. The far right edge of the display is real time data.

Yes I realized that when I took the screenshot haha. And thank you! This must be some alewife in the other pic I posted.  This is where I csught a smallmouth with the alewife it spit up.
