Hi all,

I'm looking for some feedback on what others think of my set-ups for the coming season. I put them on spreadsheet and took a picture. All the numbers assigned to each rod, reel and line type match, rod 1 is on reel 1 and has line 1 on it now for example. Let me know what you think. Thank you.

See it is your first post.  Lots of great and knowledgeable guys here.  You should get some good answers and/or recommendations.  I don't use Windows Office so I can't open the file.  Maybe Open Office would open the file, but I don't have that either.  :teeth:

Open Office and Libre Office will both open it - fully compatible with MS Office.

Thanks.  I happen to have Libre Office and was able to open the file.  I hadn't notice that little down arrow on the right side the first time I clicked on the link.

OP.  I am not the best guy to make recommendations.  Especially since I've never used any of those rods or reels.

Ya, I dumped MS years ago - went to Libre and haven't looked back once.

Far as I can see, seems okay - would like to know the size of the spinning reels to get a more detailed look.

Went with Open Office on an old desktop computer.  Went with Libre when I got my new laptop a couple years ago.  Would have preferred a Linux based laptop, but not knowledgeable enough to go that route.  Leave Windows open a week and you can hardly run the computer...even with protective software.  Replaced Windows 95 with Linux (on one of my 2 old desktops).  Left computer on for months with no problems.

OP.  Apologize for getting off topic.

Sorry for the excel spreadsheet, I sometimes forget not everyone has the same software I do. I tried to take a pic of it, but it wouldn't upload.

Anyway, I'm just trying to see if I matched the right type of lines and types of lures with the kind of rod/reel that will work. I'm not looking for reviews of the gear, just do I have the right type/weight of line and type of lure to be fished right?  I do mostly pond and small lake fishing, mostly from banks but sometimes I rent or go along with someone on a boat. That's all, thanks.

Can’t comment on your rods but instead of fluorocarbon you might want to use mono for your top water mono floats flouro sinks.
