I upgraded my sonar unit two years ago and was very pleased but I got a GPS anchor last season and it revolutionized my fishing. YMMV Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted February 9, 2020 Global Moderator Posted February 9, 2020 I’d say it’s worth it for sure. Quite the upgrade. 1 Quote

Super User jbsoonerfan Posted February 9, 2020 Super User Posted February 9, 2020 Having Spot Lock is worth far more to me than any graph. 1 Quote

Super User GreenPig Posted February 9, 2020 Super User Posted February 9, 2020 I'd do if you got the $. It'd be a huge upgrade. You can add a TM with spot lock later. 1 Quote
Super User Tennessee Boy Posted February 9, 2020 Super User Posted February 9, 2020 The one in the add is 2nd generation, not the latest 3rd generation. It's still a good deal with installation. 1 Quote

If the upgrades aren't significant, there is no reason to drop an extra grand on something that will then be outdated in another 18 months. If I were to guess, I'd bet that gen 4 will be out by this time next year 13 hours ago, Ksam1234 said: Soo cabelas is having A big sale With free installation also! Is this worth it ?
