This weather has been crazy warm this winter.  Water temps still in the mid fifty's....don't even have to wear a coat unless your in the shade or the wind is blowing....sunshine.....WOW.

Anyway....was blessed to fish with my son for a few hours yesterday along with my neighbor who since moving here about ten years ago we have tried to link up.  He has three girls and if anyone has a full schedule it's him.

I'm always kind of nervous taking someone new....do it quit a bit but always apprehensive....one of the reasons I usually meet people at the ramp....so many times I hear...well.....when we going in...wife wants me to do some stuff......#@!&.  One and Done

Anyway....was awesome....told him we should hook around thirty or forty..conditions are kind of tough for the Hill.  Dropping water....clear sky's...water clearing.  We got lucky and near darkness we put a half dozen keeper whites in  his bag for dinner.  Said he'd never had them so at last minute we got him dinner....later he said were delicious!!  May have to try....

So anyway...Praise God for another day on the water and now it's a week of Doc visit's....adventures in the making!!!

Tight Lines all.....

Glad to hear you got out on the water. Fishing always makes for good therapy.

Good deal, Glad you got out! Those white bass are delicious! I fished all weekend without a jacket, locals said it skipped fall and went straight to winter....... ?

Glad to hear that you were able to get out!!

I got a couple on a toad on Sunday.

So I got to break out my topwater dance in December

I had about 40 lbs of clothes on the back deck by the afternoon as I found daybreak to be pretty chilly so I layered up

I usually don't get out till after ten.  Seems with this chemo/rad stuff my head takes a bit longer to settle.  So it's been afternoons....was going to try and hitch a ride today but wife talked me out of it.  Lake would have been awesome.
