SC53 Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 Got the Cabelas/ Bass pro flyer in the mail finally. Garmin Echomap 93 SV and Lowrance Elite 9Ti same price at $599. I have a Lowrance 12ti on the console and am looking for a bow unit. Don’t need to interface and really like the Garmin reviews. Not so concerned about mapping upfront mainly sonar & side/ bottom scan images and reviews seem that the Garmin is better than the Lowrance. Leaning towards the Garmin but what do you guys think. Sprocket Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 93sv is a great unit. If you ever might consider Livescope, then there's no question. SE Kansas grass grower Quote
SC53 Posted November 24, 2019 Author Posted November 24, 2019 Yes Sprocket I’d like to have Livescope sometime in the future. I know Lowrance has their version but Garmins looks to be better. Quote
Fishin Dad Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 I absolutely love my Garmin 93 SV. Touch screen, super easy to use. Great unit. Will probably put 3 on my new boat. 1 Quote
haggard Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 Lowrance Hook 4 on the yak works great, but after seeing my buddy's 73SV+ on his Lund, I went with the 93SV+ on my boat. Absolutely love it, and I've barely even got into all its capabilities yet. 1 Quote
weekend_hooker Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 Got two of the 93SV on the way, I have older versions 73s and I can't wait to get the touch screens and navionics Quote
