Super User Bird Posted October 31, 2019 Super User Posted October 31, 2019 Spent all day fishing today as this will be it til spring......had an absolute blast ,it was 70's here today. I was very surprised to see no production today from Spinnerbaits or jigs. Caught almost everything on Ned and 1 on a RUNCL jerk bait.......biggest today, 3lb LM. I'll either be in a treestand or cutting wood for the next couple of months. Be safe on the waters. 6 Quote

Super User JustJames Posted November 1, 2019 Super User Posted November 1, 2019 Yeah it sucks to have a season for bass. On the other hand I hope to get my hand on some trout this year. Quote
Super User senile1 Posted November 1, 2019 Super User Posted November 1, 2019 I think @Bird may mean this is the end of bass season for him, and the start of deer hunting. Assuming his location information is correct, the Virginia DGIF website states that there is a continuous year-round season for freshwater fish, other than a few exceptions. Bass are not mentioned as one of those exceptions. https://www.dgif.virginia.gov/fishing/regulations/game/ Whatever the case may be, enjoy your winter activities! 1 Quote
