So I had a bag of new plastic trailers and I took off a stick style swimbait, a senko w a paddle tail, and threw it in the bag with the trailers and when I went to open it the swimbait like melted some of the trailers and they all got ruined and stuck together. The swimbait kinda shriveled up and got kinda hard. This happen to anyone else, and why did this occur? Don’t want to ruin anymore new baits in the future

Were any of them Elaztech?  Zman products are mostly this and some strike king.  They do not go together - they fuse together with any plastisol or PVC bait.

There is your answer.  In the future keep them in their original packaging and don't mix them with other baits.

Original packaging on Elaztech products usually states this warning... I know, we’ve all done

it at some point...

This was a problem with soft plastics in general until "worm proof" storage bags and boxes became the norm. Mixing brands can still cause issues with color bleeding together. Z-Man uses a soft plastic that isn't compatible with other brands and some storage boxes, keep them separated in original bags as everyone has suggested.

As stated above....  This is the reason I don't store them in anything but the original packages.  They can do all kinds of funky stuff.... Stick together, mix colors, mix scents, etc.

Zman baits even in their original bag will fuse together.  They destroy regular pvc boxes.
