Does anyone have any experience with a spinning Fenwick HMG ML/F. At the moment I’m using a pretty light trout rod for my bass fishing and looking to upgrade. I mainly fish weightless 4 and 5 inch Senkos, mojo rigs with finesse worms and a 1/8 weight, some lighter Carolina rigs with a max weight of 3/8. I’d also like to be able to throw some bigger t rigged baits, like a 10.5 inch big ol monster with a 1/4 weight on occasion. I’d be using 8lb test with this setup. The weight rating seems like this rod would fit my needs, was wondering if anyone has any feedback?

I have 2 of them I use them with 6# fluorocarbon line for Ned rig fishing.  I haven’t used anything heavier than 1/8 oz because I have other setups for heavier applications.

I have the previous generation 6'9" ML-F. Great for Ned or drop shot. Decent for light texas rigged trick worms. A little light for 5" senkos Texas rigged. Good for wacky rig though.

To be honest don't use it much since getting a BPS Carbon lite 2.0 6'8" M-Xf. The Carbonite does everything I want it to do very well.

Still can't part with the Fenwick though, special place in my heart :)
