Super User roadwarrior Posted March 13, 2019 Super User Posted March 13, 2019 Memphis is inside the bull's eye for high winds, rain, hail and tornado warnings this afternoon. Further north the forecast is for heavy snow and blizzard conditions. That little rat didn't make the right call this year, winter is still upon us. p.s. The Mighty Mississippi is 7' above flood stage with MUCH more headed this way. Quote
Super User TOXIC Posted March 13, 2019 Super User Posted March 13, 2019 YIKES!! Keep your head on a swivel and be safe. I thought we were all done with this winter. Quote

Tornado? Yes. Although @roadwarrioris a far piece from me. 70+ degrees and really windy in Knoxville right now Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 14, 2019 Author Super User Posted March 14, 2019 Well, we had an F4 in AL last week that killed 23 people. It's not "common", but tornados are not rare this time of year. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted March 15, 2019 Super User Posted March 15, 2019 Stay safe....and sending good thoughts to our members in NE, CO and IA, too. Quote
Super User jimmyjoe Posted March 15, 2019 Super User Posted March 15, 2019 Thnx. I'm in Iowa, and the river hit flood stage today with at least 4 feet of rise expected. That'll take awhile to work its way downstream. The bad thing about our members in NE is the old saying, "One foot up, a hundred sideways." At least no tornadoes where I live .......... yet. I sure hope our Southern friends make it through okay. jj Quote
Chowderhead Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Nebraska checking in. Rivers are all flooding around here - will be an interesting next few days. Quote
