Would Yo-Zuri Hybrid be a good leader for braid? Lots cheaper than regular flourocarbon.

Would 10# Yo-Zuri be a good match for 15 or 20# Power Pro? Or should I go to 12#?

I only use 12 and 15 with 50-60# braid.

10 is pretty good all-around....but if you aren't in a lot of heavy cover, sharp rock, or zebras,  you would almost certainly be fine with 8.

Took a guided trip out to sea in California a few years ago.  My guide put us on fish, and then just sat back and tied leaders all day using a bulk spool of yozuri hybrid (15 or 20lb).  I bet if we were on a freshwater lake he  would have used the same (brand, not lb test)

Yes yes yes.

Great for leader material. I use mainly 6, 8, 10, but have gone

up to 15 and down to 4. They all work very well. I did have one

mishap, probably 6 years ago with a fresh 10# leader, no nicks

or anything. It snapped on a bass I never got to see. Was a very

strong fight, likely a big 'un :) . Lost confidence in the line for

quite a few years, but since regained.

I use 12 lb YZH leader for jigs, Spinnerbaits, Chatterbaits...

8 lb leaders for skipping wacky worms, Flukes, etc around dock posts.  So much stronger, abrasion resistant than fluorocarbon.

Try the HD Carbon. It holds knots better than any other fluoro on the market. And it’s tough in rocks.

Only line I use for my leaders.  I use 6lb, 8lb, 10lb and 12lb and love it.

Funny story...last year when I started fishing again, I went to our Bass Pro and asked one of the workers if they had any of the Yozuri Hybrid.  He laughed and with attitude said “we stopped selling that stuff a long time ago!”

Just a few weeks ago, I seen they had it on the shelves again and plus it was on sale.

I was at Cabela's yesterday and couldn't find any. Ordered some on Amazon and it will be here Monday.
