5/0 Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 I have a couple of old Cabelas worm binders. The pages are about 8 1/2" L x 8" W. The grommets are 4" on center. I would like to get more but they are not available and other brands don't match the size. I saw that BPS has Angler Storage Bags that match the width, but are 12" L with no grommets. I had a thought of cutting them down to the proper length and some how sealing the cut and add my own grommets. Have anyone of you had experience with these bags and done the modifications I mentioned? Are they made out a heavy enough plastic to handle the grommet and can they be sealed at the cut line? Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted January 31, 2019 Super User Posted January 31, 2019 I think you would be better off getting some new worm binder bags instead of trying to cut and reseal everything. Quote
Super User NorthernBasser Posted January 31, 2019 Super User Posted January 31, 2019 Not sure if these would work. But they're listed at 9"x 9". Scroll down...on the right. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/Bass-Pro-Shops-Extreme-LargeDouble-Worm-Binder-or-Replacement-Pages Quote
5/0 Posted January 31, 2019 Author Posted January 31, 2019 Thanks Short Fish! Nothing about space between grommets, I'll ask BPS. Quote
Musky Mike II Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 I have 19 of the BPS 8" x 9 1/2" bags and 14 of the 5" x 6" bags all with 4" between grommets that I'd be willing to part with for $7 + shipping. Email: muskymike@sbcglobal.net Quote
5/0 Posted February 2, 2019 Author Posted February 2, 2019 Thanks for the offer, but I'll wait on that for now. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted February 3, 2019 Super User Posted February 3, 2019 I ran into trying to replace the bags on an old BPS Extreme. I contacted BPS directly and they found the bags but it was cheaper to buy a new bag with new bags. Quote
