I have two Helix G2N with Side Imaging, one 7" and one 9" with mega imaging.  I intend to network them with transducers on the TM and transom.  Which would you put on the console and which would you put up front?  My inclination is to put the 7" on the console and the 9" on the front of the boat since it will get the most use.  Thoughts?

This is just my opinion, and I'm sure there are good reasons to do it the other way, but I'd put the 9 at the console. I'm going to use si primarily when I'm at the console so that's where I want the larger screen. I do use si some from the bow but not much. If I used it a lot from the front that's where I'd want the 9. It probably depends a lot on how exactly you use your electronics.

Same here, I use my console finder to find what I am looking for and my bow mount to stay on it, this is my preference and am sure there are other ways.

9 up front and 7 on the dash

I agree. currently have a 7 SI in the console and a 7 DI up front. they work fine, but it would be a lot easier to see the down imaging up front if it was bigger.

I spend a few minutes each trip behind the wheel and hours and hours up front.  I always want my biggest screen to be where I am most of the time.  I have front and back si and di.  I use them mostly from the front.

Thanks for all the input. I think I will try the 9” on the bow first simply because of the “bigger is easier to see” argument. My eyes just aren’t what they use to be and the console unit will only be about a foot or so from my face when I am using it.
