Well....kind of felt this was coming but wasn't positive.  Ho....Ho....Ho.  Took the boat in again Monday after it failed again!!  Seems I broke a reed...and the injectors need cleaned(don't believe this has ever been done) and the oil pump is taking a dump.  I knew the oil pump was going so this was included.  Anyway...yes I'm spoiled and blessed but it will be probably two weeks or better before I get the ol girl back.  Missing her already....class is out for the fishes too as I can't give any education hook sets on the lake.  Guess my golf game will get some attention and will do some golf ball hunting.  Blessed to be able to take to shop and have an amazing wife.

Merry Christmas all.

Sounds like it's crying time again.  If it broke a reed and ingested it into the cylinder, that can do some major damage to the piston, head and cylinder.  Cost to repair can exceed the value of an older motor.  B.O.A.T is probably not going to get it.

Have had this boat since 02 and have really only used gas/oil/couple pumps and stuff in all those years and miles across country.  Could not put a dollar amount on the joy it has brought.  Especially with the kids and grand kids now and also a lot of tourney adventures.  Have heard it will be about a grand....wife says yes....I say awesome.  Now I need to be patient...just like watching a bobber!

Just come up with a way to attach the golf ball to a line.  Then you can cast the ball and keep you casting skills in tact while your waiting.   Beside, get to playing too much golf and you'll end up wanting a new set of clubs, look that what that will cost.

Fish the golf course ponds. ?. Best of both worlds !

Finally got my trolling motor running right. Itll go 3-4 mph. now !

I dont miss those days when I owned a bass boat. Something always needing attention. Sold that sucker , went right out and bought a JB with a little kicker, and kept the trolling motor off the bass boat.

The older I get I want simplicity !!! But as Briscoe Darling would say " More power to ye "

Merry Christmas brothers !

That is what you say now. Just wait until the golf gorilla over rides the bait monkey.
