fishinbub Posted December 15, 2018 Posted December 15, 2018 I'm looking for a straight shank hook (preferably with baitholder barbs) that has a vertical turned eye (parallel to the hook point) instead of the traditional horizontal eye for a little project I'm working on. It's pretty easy to find jig hooks with the eyes turned that way, but not the straight shank hook. Any suggestions? Thanks, Sam Quote
Brad Reid Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Minnow, someone ought to make these but the closest I know of would be a VMC 28 degree angled jig hook. It'd be worth a look to see if it'd work for your intended application. Brad 28 degree jig hook with flat eye And, these, but small sizes only. flat eye streamer hooks Quote
Super User Catt Posted December 16, 2018 Super User Posted December 16, 2018 Don't know that I've seen on ? Try Barlow's Tackle I'm thinking they have 16° jig hooks. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted December 16, 2018 Super User Posted December 16, 2018 You might also look at Captain Hooks. Quote
Super User WRB Posted December 16, 2018 Super User Posted December 16, 2018 Mustad 91768, no barbs and not straight shank. Gamakatsu 474 is a close as I can think of. Tom Quote
