Good info for many A-Jay. Here in Missouri, they have banned ice fishing on many lakes if not all- simply because folks don't pay attention to ice thickness

My Dad ground it in my head to never trust the ice. When he was a kid he went through the ice in shallow water up to his knees. He said he never had such pain shoot his body.

When I was younger, I fell through the ice twice. Everytime it gets cold my fingers and toes remind me of those 2 trips.

A guy my dad worked with got stranded on lake erie , when where they were fishing the ice broke off and floated into open water. They were out there on 4 wheelers and snowmobiles and had to be rescued by the coast guard.

The lake near my house is being drained this year and showing are casualties from attempted ice fishing from years past. The water in these pics was 8-12’ deep before the drain.

Th chart is dumb to begin with as Godzilla lives in the ocean, why would he care if he fell through the ice?

As I read this, there is currently a rescue operation on Lake Superior because some jack ***** walked out there and the unsafe, questionable ice they were on drifted away from shore.  You just can't fix stupid, can you.
