Looks like a flannel shirt, right? It's actually a jacket! A jacket that looks like a shirt? A shacket! And boy is it warm and comfortable. Best thing I got for fall fishing by far! Perfect for cool fall days. And I'll be wearing this next spring too!

It's from Simms Fishing. More info:https://www.simmsfishing.com/shop/mens/mens-new-arrivals/guide-insulated-shacket-f18

I have a red plaid shacket.  Don't know the brand, though.  It is warm and I use it for all manner of outdoor work.  It got bleach on it once and I used a red sharpie to "fill in" the white bleached area.  The ultimate in high fashion.  :  )

My dad had a black and white checkered one he owned (and wore) from the 50's til he died a couple years ago.    He always called it a shirt...since I was a kid, I always thought he was mistaken....that it was a jacket.....now I finally know the true name...thanks, @Glenn

Simms makes awesome products, not surprised that you like it!  I might have to pick something like that up myself..

Here in northern Michigan, Flannel is actually a Religion.

But so is Camo . . .

In my neck of the woods, that’s just called a “Parry Sound dinner jacket”.

You don’t go far around here in the cool seasons without seeing a few of them on people of any age.

No kidding!  The more Simms items I get, the more I want.  Their clothing is just amazing - really well thought out, and quality work.

I'll post some more pictures soon!

It beats out my $19.99 red buffalo plaid shacket from Walmart.

But then again I can use the $150 I saved and scratch my bait monkey itch with a new rod and reel. :wink3:

While I'm sure this is a really nice item I can stay warm for a lot less money.
