6th Sense crankbaits

So, I'm quite intrigued by 6th Sense crankbaits, they look good, the logo is cool, packaging is neat and the price seems right.

 

I also really like their line of apparel, hats and shirts.

 

I bought a few of the Crush Flat 75x to try in popular colors to match the hatch where I fish. Unfortunately I have had ZERO luck with the lure. I tried for a while a couple weekends ago and finally gave up, tied on a KVD 1.5 and caught a decent 2lb bass second cast afterwards.

 

So, I really want to like 6th sense lures and would like to try some of their other crankbait offerings. What do you guys like to use from their lineup?

Primarily looking for both shallow and medium divers to experiment with.

75 black also chartreuse/blue i wish that had a chrome.

I have some of the 50x square bills that run about 5' deep. I have one in a bluegill color and some in various shad colors. So far the only thing I have caught on one of them is a 5 pound drum or white perch. I will say this has not been a good year for me with any crank baits. In fact I have not gotten to fish much at all this year.

You just wait til the water cools down. That Flat75 will flat catch them in the late fall and early spring when the water is so cold that they won't bite much else.

I've caught a ton of bass the last three weeks on 6th Sense cranks.......They are all I have and I love them. 

I have about 25 or so and they all produce in the right situation.

You can't judge a bait like that. First of all, a 1.5 and a flat side are 2 different baits with different actions. Flat side baits do well in high pressure areas and cooler water temps because they have a much tighter action than a round body bait. The second thing is the fish itself, I've had many days where I was fishing a small square bill and didn't even manage a follow. Instead of giving up on the crank I switched to a DT-4, it was the same size as my square bill and dove just about the same depth as the previous bait but the first cast produced a solid largemouth and before I left the flat I had caught 4 more fish. You caught a fish when you switched to the 1.5 and it was probably the diving depth, action, or color that triggered the strike or it could have been a combination of all those things. The one thing you can't do is say the other bait wasn't any good because you are using 2 different types of cranks, now if you were using another flat side bait that was a similar color, action, and diving depth then you can probably say that the bait isn't as good as the one you were using but don't judge based off of an apples to oranges comparison.

Nice Fish!  I see you live in Omaha, I used to live right next to Walnut Creek and would fish the flat 75 with a lot of luck in the fall.   It was pretty pressured but I remembered being able to get some good bites on one.

I have used the 50x a lot this spring and summer. I have come to hypothesize that their baits work the best in pressured waters. As my most productive days came when a lot of people around me were throwing other square bills. As my slowest days have been on water that barley sees a lure.

Another thing about the flat 75x is that it also rises on the pause a lot more slowly than a standard squarebill, almost suspending -- perfect for cold water, which is what it was designed for.

 

I have some of the crush 50x and the curve 55 too....beautiful baits, but haven't had a chance to try them yet.

I caught one of my bigger fish this year on a crush 70? Or 75? Whichever it is, in the ghost shad color I think it’s called. I really like the mvmt l7 too. Have caught lots of fish on them, just restocked and bought a bunch more. 

 

Have a bunch of the quake and quake thud lipless too but have had less success with them.

I have heard that the Movement 80x is a fish catching machine! They have a very unique, wide wobble that no other crankbait has. They are shallow cranks that only dive 1 - 3ft.

Caught 5 bass on the Movement 80x today........water was 51 degrees and all the bass were up shallow.

I haven’t had any luck with there crankbaits as well but I can tell you this. The jigs and swimjig they have are amazing ! And the lipless cranks are also very good. Caught my PB smallie on the brown eye special lipless crank and tons of others. Also the black light swimjig and bluegill fire swimjig or regular jig are killers
