Has anyone tried the Megabass Pop X? Curious how it works. I found the link on tacklewarehouse, and the GG bass sure does look just like a baby bass, which has me curious in trying it. Is it worth the price?

I have a few and love them. Pretty much only popper I use anymore.

It works well but I prefer the pop max. You can walk it and pop/chug it so it’s kind of like a 2 in 1 but both catch fish

Wait. I was thinking about the pop max. My bad.

IMO, If you are looking to fill a smaller popper hole in your tackle box,  get two different color Pop Rs for same price (or less); if you don't have larger popper already,  get PopMax, instead.

I love the pop max and another post on here recommended the river to sea bubble walker and i will say it is very similar and about half the cost.

I do like the Pop x too though when a smaller popper is what they are keying in on.

I threw my first Pop Max in 2005 and I haven't thrown any other popper since. I collect them and fish them and IMO they are worth the coin. (Balsa Max pictured)
