biggiesmalls Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 How do y'all store your hooks? Just a tray box? Has anybody used something like a small binder, similar to one used for soft plastics, before? Or something else interesting? Tight lines Drew Quote
Super User MassYak85 Posted August 17, 2018 Super User Posted August 17, 2018 I use small plastic bags (like 2in x 2in) and put them in a Plano Pro Latch Utility Box 3750. It keeps everything very neat and dry and I can maximize space, without ever having stuff tangle. Is it a bit of a pain to take things in and out of the tiny bags, sure. But I feel the 5 seconds every time is worth the organization it gives me. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted August 17, 2018 Global Moderator Posted August 17, 2018 I use a Plano 3700 for all terminal tackle with glued in dividers. Mike 1 Quote
mattkenzer Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 I have a waterproof box (for crank baits) that I fill and take with me on the boat. I try to keep them in their original package so it easy to see what needs re-filling. I keep the replacements at home. 2 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted August 17, 2018 Super User Posted August 17, 2018 I leave them in the bags, and put them in a deep Plano Hydroflo box. 1 Quote

Trokar wacky rig hooks gave me the idea as they come on some kind of paper clip looking keeper. I put the safety pin held hooks in a small ziplock bag and use a sharpie to mark what size hooks they are. Then they go into my tackle bag. Quote

thinkingredneck Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 I use the safety pins inside a plastic plano. I also keep some in my worm binder pockets. Quote
Way north bass guy Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 I prefer to store my hooks firmly in the upper lip of a bass ?. Seriuosly though, I’m like most guys and sort them in a smaller Plano box, it’s not too hard to get to what I need to fairly quick while on the water. Quote
