Same here. They're probably trying to resolve it as we type. :)

Same here.

This is usually the case of the people running the website forgetting or failing to update their SSL Certification. Not usually due to "hackers" or the likes.

I'd feel comfortable still ordering from them, they're pretty straight and have never seemed shady to me. I'm sure they're getting on it asap.

You would think, being an internet based business, they would have a few alarms/reminders set for this.  Hell, getting a florist to make a monthly delivery of a single rose with "SSL" on the tag would be cheaper than even like two missed sales I bet.

I call my orders in. I find it easier and safer. Great place to deal with.

Well...the postal service website www.usps.com had the same warning. So I think we’re OK.

Why yes, yes there is. I've been looking into a $100-$120 setup for the Ned Rig, particularly for river Smallmouth, and I was about to settle on the Lew's Laser SG1 rod. Then I learned about the Fenwick Eagle rod, which they do not have, for $10 more. Apparently this is a good and famous rod for the price, and will do me very well, but they don't have it; instead they have the HMX which gets horrible reviews and it's $20 more than the Eagle. Welp, I was hoping to order a President 25 and a rod from the same place, but looks like I'll be ordering directly from each manufacturer.

Only problem I'm having is they need to restock their huddlestons...

Try Susquehanna Fishing Tackle.  They're sort of TW "east."  Nice family operation, run by cool people, and they have just about everything.

Just checked them out. Looks great, super close, fast shipping to my area.

Thanks for the tip, John!

They don't have the Eagle. How is FishUSA? They have it.

P.S. First time ordering rod and reel online. Always gone to the store. My local DSG fishing department has gone to being absolute trash, I now live 2 hours away from BPS, and the local mom and pop tackle shop doesn't carry any rods I'm interested in at the moment.

Their storefront is like 3 hours from me and at least once a winter I get cabin fever bad enough to make the drive. It's most bass-stuff that I've ever seen in one place and the only way I can make it out of there with any money left in my checking account is to limit my purchases to only as much as I can hold in my two hands.
