Computer guys, plus everyone else on the Forum, I have a dumb computer question.

I have Yahoo as my home page on my home and office Dell computers. You know, the page that shows up when you go on the Internet and then you pull down your favorites list or type in your search words.

My question is simple: Why do I have two different home page formats?

The computers are the same age and the Yahoo home pages were installed a day apart. I would think they would be the same.

Just wondering if you know what can I do if I want to make them the same.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Let's start comparing the 2 computers.

Do they both run the same operating system?

Are you using the same browsers on each computer?

Are you using the same version of each browser?

You also may have to take into consideration your Screen size and resolution.  Smaller screens will adapt whatever is being viewed to fit correctly on the screen.  This could result in formatting differences.

They are identical.

Will look into if I am using the same browser.

Thanks a million. This is a great start.

Are you logged in to Yahoo! on both?

And you're absolutely certain the URL is exactly the same?

Can you post a screen shot of each?

You can use https://postimages.org/

to upload and link to the images.

Just use the snipping tools on your PC for the screen shot.

You are right! Different browsers. Thanks to all for your input.

I will just put up with it. No major problem.

Thanks again to all.

You can easily set your home page to whatever page you want. I would recommend gooling the question "How to set home page with _________ (fill in the blank with your browser and operating system). There will be many replies with the procedure. I can't tell you how unless I know the OS and browser.

You can also set that same page when you open a new tab. You may need an add-on to do this but thats easy too.

Shout if you need more help!
