Has anyone punched with a Duckett MM 7'10"??

Looking for opinions on the rod. Considering it for punching. I've been using a 7'7" H White Ice lately, but I've been catching several 4-6lb class fish and I have a little trouble hoisting them out of the grass.

 

Strickly looking for opinions on that rod for punching. Thanks!
