Keitech rod

Lately been on a good bite throwing keitech easy shiners with an 1/8oz ball head. Looking at th e dobyns fury 702 and 703 spinning rods. Would the 702 get the job done or should i step up the 703. The 703 seemed fairly stiff to me

I have no experience with dobyns spinning rods but out of those two if it was me I would choose the 702. I prefer softer tip rods when throwing light swimbaits and have had no trouble with hooksets

I'm using an Irod Crusher 702 spin. Love it.

Good thread but he was looking for a rod to throw them on a swimbait hoom, which would be more suited for casting. I am strictly fishing easy shiners on 1/8oz ball heads with spinning gear

Thanks, I am leaning towards the 702 but want to hear some opinions

Depends what you are casting to. Open water id do the 2. Close to any shore or cover id do 3

I fish them on a Sierra 703.
