Is anyone aware of some of the lightest inshore baitcast rods on the market today? If there's already a recent forum, feel free to let me know. Thanks

Welcome aboard!

We have a number of inshore guys on the forum

who will probably chime in on your question.

That said, one of the lighter models I've used that

while not slated for inshore, is fine for it, is the
Bass Pro Carbonlite series. Super light rods.

Welcome to BR. Take a look at the Kistler Z bones. They run from 3.4 oz to 3.8 oz in a production casting rod. Not an inshore rod per say but would be more than adequate. Two weight through five weight rods. They are on sale direct from kistler's web site use code JAN15OFF

In general high modulus blanks, micro guides, sic etc rings all combine to build as light a rod as possible. There are many models that fit the bill or custom may be the right option in this case.

Got a FTU "Green" Pure Titanium rod that is the lightest inshore I have fished.
