22hertz Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Does anyone know where a Curado 200i disassembly video or guide is online? I can't find one anywhere. I want to take my reel apart for the first time to clean and lube everything but want to see how its done before attempting it. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Are you looking for a schematic? Quote
Bass Turd Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 These will get you started. As far as I can tell the parts are the same and in the same places. The brakes are different but you will use the same procedure. Each part you take off place in order from right to left. Reverse the process to re assemble. Make note on the length of the side plate screws you take out. One may be longer than the others. Also search for cleaning methods for the bearings. I don't think these videos go into that. Quote
Super User JustJames Posted December 7, 2016 Super User Posted December 7, 2016 I dont know if this will help you, it is for curado 200 but audio is thai language. At least you know what you're gonna see inside. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted December 7, 2016 Super User Posted December 7, 2016 Go to the Shimano website, click Support > Reel Schematics. Choose your reel. Pick the exact model number from the links listed. Here's the link to the Curado page: http://fish.shimano.com/content/sac-fish/en/home/products/fishing-reels/baitcast/curado.html Here's the link to the 200I pdf: http://fish.shimano.com/media/fishing/shimano/sac/images/schematics/Low_Profile_Baitcasting/Current_Models/Curado_I/14CU200I_v1_m56577569831025907.pdf Quote
