M Patrick Sauer Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I've had to replace my transducer twice. Has anybody used this product? Is it any good? https://www.amazon.com/Wee-Transducer-Protector-mountable-transducer/dp/B01KY9Y2BY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1472837966&sr=8-1&keywords=wee+vee Quote

Interesting design, though. On 9/2/2016 at 11:02 PM, OperationEagle said: First off, welcome to bassresource. Super User slonezp Posted September 5, 2016 Super User Posted September 5, 2016 I don't know about other products. Transducer Shield and Saver is what I use. A bit pricey but worth every penny 1 Quote

Interesting design, though. Does this thing move or rotate back toward the transducer when you hit something? It is angled so it wouldn't move straight back. Have had mine for a couple of months and it hasn't moved. When it arrived in the mail I was surprised at how sturdy and strong it felt. After installing it, I was confident it would do the job. I am in no way associated w the company. It does a great job and is super affordable. Quote
M Patrick Sauer Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 Thanks for the input. I actually found the owner on FB. Nice guy. Answered all my questions. I was concerned about sizing also. What it comes down to is that on the smallest one you have to put the clamp through the triangle part. The others have a lip for the clamp to go on the outside of the triangle. As for diameter differences in motors he said the metal part that hugs the motor is smaller gauge than the protective portion. When the clamps tightened it form fits itself to whatever diameter the motor is. He also said that a promo is going to be launched around mid September on Amazon because the store site is new. He didn't say exactly what it was going to be but said it would be significant since he needs reviews and feedback. I will keep everyone posted when I find out what it will actually be although I already bought mine... Quote
