Fishin' Fool Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 I got a few packs on the way. What's your favorite way to fish them? I was intrigued by the ideal of fishing it on a Neko rig. Quote

I've only rarely looked into the rage rig so didn't see a noticeable difference. However, the link above by @roadwarrior led me down a rabbit hole of rage rig videos that clearly shows a different fall. Great. More terminal tackle to get. Thanks! Lol 2 Quote
Smokinal Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 ^^^That's what it's all about! Those swim nicely on a Rage rig too. Good luck with the monkey! 1 Quote
trupp30 Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 Rage rig all the time, and I am starting to use them as a jig trailer, too. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted May 14, 2016 Super User Posted May 14, 2016 I use them all the time, mostly as jig trailers and Texas rigged. Both above produced some lunker bass, these baits are bad to the bone. Quote

It has a different fall rate, and falls completely different. A T-rig the craw will fall with its butt following the bullet weight. Rage Rig, the bait falls horizontally because of the weighted swimbait hook. And since Big-O designed the Rage bait line, he can make up whatever name he chooses to go with his line of soft plastics. primetime Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Rage Tail Craws flat out catch fish...I really don't think you could fish them wrong, king of like a Senko since you can swim them on top like a buzz bait, weighted hook or rage rig, flip or pitch, split shot rig, drop shot, and they are dynamite in stained water if you are anti rattle..they are like the Paca Craws only better since they catch water and are the ultimate Jig Trailer as well... I would not limit myself, you can use them on a carolina rig, to a weightless rig, but I love to pitch them into cover, lift 2x, then slowly swim them out, kill it, then rip them fast after contacting grass but they work just as good as a toad if you see a fish break the surface and want to throw a topwater that covers water...They will crush it and not let go either.... Best bait imo that strike King Makes although the Menace and Flukes are also pretty good....They have a color called Blue Magic I think, I know they do for jigs and I have craws in the green pumpkin blue color, and it is money every time I use them... 1 Quote
